Rapid tends to be strong on branded and chain properties, which is exactly where a bedbank can be weaker. Running it beside a bedbank usually widens the inventory more than adding a second bedbank would.

Send test credentials, the API documentation and a contact at Expedia Rapid. We map search, book, cancel and refund, run certification if it is required, and switch to production once you have signed off on UAT.
Expedia Rapid integration questions#
How does this differ from a traditional bedbank?
Coverage skews differently. Bedbanks often go deeper on independent and regional properties; Expedia's inventory is strong on chains and recognisable brands. Running one of each usually widens your inventory more than running two of the same type.
Can I show guest reviews on my own site?
Where your partner terms allow it, review and rating data can be surfaced on your property pages. What is permitted varies by agreement, so we configure to whatever your contract actually says rather than to what is technically possible.
Is it suitable for a B2B agent portal?
Yes. Content and rates flow into the same portal your agents already use, with your own tier-based markups applied. Nothing about the source is visible to your sub-agents unless you choose to show it.
