Send test credentials, the API documentation and a contact at IRCTC. We map search, book, cancel and refund, run certification if it is required, and switch to production once you have signed off on UAT.
IRCTC integration questions#
Can anyone integrate rail booking?
No. Access is restricted to authorised partners under conditions set by the operator. If you already hold that authorisation we integrate against it. If you do not, that is a commercial process you need to complete first, and we will be straight with you about it rather than taking the project on regardless.
How do refunds differ from air?
Substantially. Rail refund rules are their own regime, driven by class, timing and status rather than by fare rules. The platform applies the correct rules and shows the charge before the customer confirms.
Does rail use the same agent credit as everything else?
Yes. One wallet, one ledger, one credit limit across every product line.
