PayU payment gateway integration
PayU is a long-established gateway with broad bank coverage and EMI options that matter on higher-value international bookings. Many agencies run it alongside a second gateway for redundancy.

- Broad issuing-bank coverage for card transactions
- EMI options across multiple banks and tenures
- International card acceptance where your account permits
- Refund handling through the API
- Settlement reporting for reconciliation
What we connect
- Checkout with method selection and EMI eligibility shown live
- Payment link generation for offline-closed bookings
- Booking confirmation triggered by payment success
- Refunds issued from the booking record
- Settlement matching against bookings in the back office
- Automatic failover to a second gateway if the primary is down
Where it plugs in
- Your B2B agent portal, with tier-based markups
- Your B2C consumer site, at retail pricing
- Your corporate self-booking tool
- Your iOS and Android apps, with no separate setup
- The back office — one ledger, one reconciliation
- Turned on or off per market, channel and agent tier
Running two gateways is not paranoia. A gateway outage during a peak booking window costs more than the integration effort of the second one, and the platform can fail over between them without anyone intervening.

Send test credentials, the API documentation and a contact at PayU. We map search, book, cancel and refund, run certification if it is required, and switch to production once you have signed off on UAT.
PayU integration questions#
Should I run more than one payment gateway?
If payments are a meaningful share of your revenue, yes. Outages happen, and failing over automatically costs you a few hours of setup against a lost afternoon of bookings. The platform switches without anyone needing to notice.
Does EMI eligibility show before checkout?
Yes, calculated live so the customer sees available tenures and the per-month figure before committing. Showing it after they have chosen a payment method is where these bookings get abandoned.
Can different markets use different gateways?
Yes. Gateway is a per-point-of-sale setting, so an Indian site and a Gulf site can each use whichever provider suits their local rails.
