Sabre API integration

Sabre is the strongest GDS for North American content and for agencies selling into and out of the Americas. We connect it into your portal so your agents get that content without leaving your own booking screens.

Live in 3–7 working days from credentials

What Sabre brings you

  • Deep North American carrier content plus global reach
  • REST and SOAP services through Sabre's developer platform
  • Air shopping with flexible-date and low-fare search
  • Hotel, car and rail content on the same agreement
  • Seat maps, ancillaries and branded fare families
  • Exchange and refund services for post-ticket changes

What we connect

  • Air shopping with the search breadth tuned to your route mix
  • Revalidation and price check immediately before payment
  • Booking, PNR creation and ticket issue under your IATA or your consolidator's
  • Exchange, reissue and refund with fee calculation shown to the agent
  • Seat, bag and meal ancillaries at checkout and after booking
  • Automated schedule-change capture into your operations queue
  • Fare rule retrieval presented in readable form, not raw text

Where it plugs in

Sabre's shopping calls are powerful but can be expensive per search on some agreements. The platform reports look-to-book by supplier and lets you throttle or cap a source, so you can protect your search economics rather than discover the problem on an invoice.

Timeline

Three to seven working days.#

Send test credentials, the API documentation and a contact at Sabre. We map search, book, cancel and refund, run certification if it is required, and switch to production once you have signed off on UAT.

How the integration process works

Sabre integration questions#

Is Sabre worth adding if I already have Amadeus?

It depends on your route mix. Sabre tends to earn its place on transatlantic and Americas traffic where its content and fares are stronger. If your selling is largely intra-Asia or intra-Europe, a second GDS may add search latency and cost without adding many bookings. The look-to-book and margin-per-supplier reports will tell you within a month.

Can I control how often Sabre is searched?

Yes. You can restrict a supplier to particular routes, markets, agent tiers or channels, and throttle its share of searches. That matters where an agreement charges per shopping request.

Do you support exchanges and reissues?

Yes, including the fee calculation your agent needs to quote a date change on the phone. The quoted amount is what the customer is charged, so your counter staff are not guessing.

Take the trial on your own routes and fares, on whichever model suits you. Nothing to install, nothing to sign.
